We are a social enterprise specialized in Low-Income Financial Transformation (L-IFT)
L-IFT primarily works in diaries research, which is strongly evidence focused. In our view much development is based on preconceived notions that are not supported by evidence. We question these notions and will go all the way to confirm whether they are true or not. If they are not true we endeavour to formulate a validated notion instead.
Made by the MasterCard Foundation, this video offers an insight into our Youth Livelihoods Diaries Research Project in Uganda and Ghana:
L-IFT’s Key Concepts
L-IFT is a research organization committed to empowering communities through data. At L-IFT, we believe in providing value for money and ensuring that those who contribute to our process directly benefit from it. We strive to make open-source data accessible to all as a utility service, continuously building evidence to support our work.
Our mission is to help communities learn from data and to train youth to be customer-centric. By building skills for serving low-income people, we provide young, local individuals with valuable work experience. Our goal is to help respondents develop self-awareness and confidence, enabling them to take control of their own futures.
Join us on our journey to create a better, more informed world. Together, we can make a difference.
