Field Supervisor: Nakivale Refugee Settlement

Racheal Ainokwikiriza holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Bishop Stuart University in Uganda. She has a Certificate in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL). She has 4 years experience in Data Collection. She has been working as a Field Researcher for L-IFT since 2016 for the FEDU and SEEP projects. She is now one of the Field Supervisors for L-IFT’s RISE project.

Joshua Bakwerani

Field Supervisor: Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement

Joshua Bakwerani has a Degree in Public Administration and Management and 8 years of experience in Data Collection. He has a Certificate in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) from Gulu University. He has worked in different parts of Uganda for different organizations as a Data Collector. He has a passion working on issues that involves youth. He has trained youth and women group in financial literacy and selection, planning and management of income generating activities in village savings groups (VSLAs). Read More>>

    He was L-IFT’s respondent in 2016. In 2017, he was recruited as a Field Researcher for the FEDU project and in 2019 he became one of the Field Supervisors for L-IFT’s RISE project.

Bingo Apolo Valantino

Field Researcher: Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement

Bingo Apolo is a Field Researcher in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. He is from South Sudan, Central Equatoria State Juba, Juba County. He has been living for 3 years in the settlement. He has an experience working in National Bureau of Statistics Commission in South Sudan as an Enumerator. He has also worked as a Data Collector for Remember the One We Lost (ROWL) organization in KIryandongo.

 

Trinitas Nibaruta 

Field Researcher: Nakivale Refugee Settlement

Trinitas Nibaruta is a Field Researcher in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. She is from Burundi. She has a Degree in Law from Lac Tanganyika University at Bujumbura in Burundi. She was working in her own shop for 3 years, then she worked as a Restaurant Manager for another 3 years in Bujumbura, Burundi. She has lived for 5 years in Nakivale. She has taken Business training in Nakivale and she has a small business in the settlement.

Rachael Dusio

Field Researcher: Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement

Rachael Dusio is Field Researcher in Kiryandongo Settlement. She is from South Sudan. She has a Bachelor of Arts with Education (BA/ED) from Makerere University, Uganda. She has taught in many schools from 2004 up to 2014 in Uganda, Sudan and South Sudan. She has lived for in Kiryandongo. From 2015 to date, She has been doing Field Research for various humanitarian organizations.


 

Mibaraka Kamana 

Field Researcher: Nakivale Refugee Settlement

Mibaraka Kamana is a Field Researcher in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. He is from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Development, Firm Management (Entrepreneurship) from the Technical High Institute of development in the DRC (Institut supérieur de dévéloppement). He has 4 years of experience as a Teacher and a Deputy Head Master in a secondary school. Read More>>

    In addition, he has 5 years experience as a Secretary in Mediation Committee for Development Organization in DRC. He lived in Nakivale for 5 years. In the Nakivale Settlement, he has worked as a Community Football Manager and as a Data Collector for African Initiative for Relief and Development (AIRD). He was also elected and worked as a Community Leader in charge of person with special need (PSN) and he is the Founder and Chairman of CLISAO Foundation (Change our Life by Increasing Savings and Assisting Orphans).

Kamikazi Nelly

Field Researcher: Nakivale Refugee Settlement

Kamikazi Nelly is a Field Researcher in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. She is from Burundi. She has a Masters Degree in Marketing. She has 3 years experience as a Manager in Red Cross and for 4 years working as a Private Order Supplier in Burundi. She has lived for 5 years in Nakivale and she has been helping out to clean refugee houses and she has her own business. Her passion is to help others.

Mambo Zakir

Field Researcher: Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement

Mambo Zakir is a Field Researcher in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. He is from Uganda. He studied Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. He has lived in Kiryandongo for 8 years. He has been working on helping the Kiryandongo community fix their phones in addition to being a Mobile Money Point helping the community receive a Mobile Money service. 

Mukarwema Leonia

Field Researcher: Nakivale Refugee Settlement

Mukarwema Leonia is a Field Researcher in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. She has a Diploma in Business Administration from Team University, Kampala, Uganda. She is from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). She has lived for 5 years in Nakivale. She has an experience working as a Data Collector for Humanitarian Initiative Just Relief Aid (HIJRA) in Nakivale.

Innocent Hategekimana

Field Researcher: Nakivale Refugee Settlement

Innocent Hategekimana is a Field Researcher in Nakivale Refugee Settlement using the FINBIT app. He is Congolese by nationality. He came from Congo North-kivu. He has been living in Nakivale refugee camp for 13 years. He has ‘A’ level certificate of Education and he studied History, Economics and Kiswahili. He has 5 years’ experience in data collection and 3 years’ experience in office work. He believes in togetherness or unity and self independence. He has worked with many difference organizations in refugee context including world Bank as a data collector.

Plamedi Ishara

Field Researcher: Nakivale Refugee Settlement

Plamedi Ishara is working as a Field Researcher in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. She has a diploma in communication and Culture I, HTM 243 English for Mission from University of Nations and pursuing her degree in Business Administration in a program of Accounting and Finance at Cavendish university Uganda (CUU).     She has an experience working as a secretary of A-1 Driving School, she was also a data collector from America Refugee Council (ARC) and she also has an experience working as an interpreter in UNHCR. Moreover, she studied Economics science in DRC at UCB and she has a certificate in Le leadership et la dynamique des groupes from GEP(DRC). She is a CEO of APIK Organization.

David Kasongo

Field Researcher: Nakivale Refugee Settlement

David Kasongo is working as a Field Researcher in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. He is from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He has graduated from “Institut supérieur pédagogique” in DRC (Teacher’s Training Institute). He has a Diploma in computer science (Association of computer professionals) ACP-UK and a certificate in Interpretation and Music. He used to teach French, English, Swahili, Music and ICT for 13 years in different countries of Africa. Read More>>
    He has worked as a Network Administrator at Lilongwe Technical College for 2 years and also has worked with Uganda Bureau of statistics (UBOS) as an Enumerator in 2013. He has worked as an interpreter with the following Organizations: UNHCR for 5years, Norwegian Mission in Uganda for 3 years, RSC Africa Nairobi for 3 years. He is also a co-pastor at Independent Baptist Church Sangano for 7 years.

    Felix Nzikobanyanka is a Field Researcher in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. He is Burundian by Origin. He studied Electrical Engineering, Computer science at High Technical Institute and University of The People respectively in Burundi and USA. He has lived in the settlement for 5 years.     Byiringiro Zabulon

    Field Researcher: Nakivale Refugee Settlement

    Byiringiro Zabulon is a Field Researcher in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. He is Congolese by Nationality. He is 27 years old. He has been living in Nakivale Refugee settlement since 2012. He has an advanced level certificate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. He also did EMAP (Engaging Men through Accountable Practices) courses in addition has attended Financial Literacy courses under WFP. Read More>>
      He is the founder of CCBT (Care a Child better tomorrow) and SWWGR (Stand with Women and Girls Refugees) in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. He has an experience in collecting data with International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. He has been helping the community since 2013 in the settlement as his passion.
