Aisha Nabibuga

Field researcher

Aisha Nabibuga is an energetic and talented researcher with a strong desire to build a career within the research industry. She is a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Population Studies from Makerere University. She is currently working as a Financial Diarist with L-IFT, collecting financial data among female entrepreneurs with small firms in the Kampala district. She joined L-IFT in March 2022 as a Field Researcher for a Baseline Survey. She is a passionate, self-motivated individual with a drive to succeed.

Akello Patricia

Field researcher

Akello Patricia has a bachelor’s degree in social work and community development. She is an experienced social worker with over 6 years of experience in research, case management, and social advocacy. Joel Abutanula

Field researcher

Joel Abutanula is currently employed by L-IFT as a researcher. He has a bachelor’s in arts from Makerere University, a postgraduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation from Uganda Management Institute (UMI), and more than five years of experience working in fields involving data and research for the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS). He is a professional with a strong background in office work who is organized and flexible.

Kamoga Doreen

Field Researcher

Kamoga Doreen is currently working for L-IFT as a Field Researcher. She has a degree in Adult and Community Education from Makerere University. Also an Advanced Certificate in Secretarial Studies and Computer Studies both from YMCA Kampala. Before working with L-IFT as a Field Researcher, she worked with World Food Program in the 2022 FSNA as a Field Researcher and a Data Entrant. She also worked with Electoral Commission Uganda as a Parish Supervisor and also as a Data Cleanup Administrator / Data Entrant at MTN Uganda under Exquisite Solutions. 

Kooli Lillian

Field researcher

Kooli Lilian has a diploma in Business Administration with over 8 years of working experience and pursuing an ACCA. She has been active in project work over serving as logistics and admin officer, Field-based trainer, Field-based researcher, and accounts assistant and loves serving and running outreach, and impact developmental projects/missions.

She has acquired indispensable experience in all kinds of research, programme planning & management, Human Rights, social work, counseling & guidance, team leadership & management, case worker management, partnership development & networking,  psychosocial support, crisis management, coordination, mentoring, developing & facilitating training, advocacy, capacity building, monitoring & evaluation, database management, and project assessments. Mukalazi Martinez

Field Researcher

Mukalazi Martinez is a field Researcher at L-IFT Uganda. Mukalazi trained as an International Youth Development worker and field Researcher and got a Common Wealth Diploma from Makerere University in 2009-2012.

He has a special focus on data management, collection, compilation processes, and research experience in randomized sampled trials or studies for both longitudinal and cross-sectional studies and qualitative aspects over the past years.

 

Namazzi Cissy

Junior Field Researcher

Namazzi Cissy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Leisure and Hospitality Management from Makerere University. She has close to 10 years of work experience in Data collection and health education in communities. She is currently pursuing a Monitoring and Evaluation Course.

She is currently working with L-IFT as a Junior Researcher in Kampala District. Her skills in leadership, communication, problem-solving, and data collection make her a great asset.

 

Nankabirwa Winnie

Junior Field Researcher

Nankabirwa Winnie is currently working with L-IFT as a Junior Field Researcher. She has a Diploma in Hotel and Tourism Management from Jimmy Ssekasi Institute Uganda and a Certificate in Computer Studies from Makerere University.

Field researcher

Edward is currently working with L-IFT as a Field researcher. He has a certificate in vocational skills training, a certified liquid bar soap trainer and maker. He is currently undertaking a diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation. He is innovative, motivated, hard-working, and goal-oriented.

Sambula Esther is a Supervisor, and Associate Researcher, or support Researcher at L-IFT Uganda. Ursula Nyakol

Field researcher

Ursula Nyakol has a bachelor’s degree in Science in Accounting and Finance, currently pursuing to become a certified accountant. Before working for L-IFT as A Financial Diarist Researcher she worked for other research companies such as Laterite Uganda, Innovations for Poverty Action(IPA), and Infinite Insight to mention but a few. 

She has also worked in the finance field as a finance and administration Officer at LINKSAT Technologies and also with great passion and the zeal to learn and grow in these various fields.

 
 

Veronica Nabwire

Field researcher

Veronica Nabwire holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. With over four years of experience in research, she is currently working with L-IFT as a field researcher. She has previously worked with the National Identification and Registration Authority in Uganda as an Assistant Registration Officer and has successfully performed a number of data management and clerical tasks. Additionally, she has experience in web design using various languages like PHP and HTML and also has experience in graphic design using multiple tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
