The harvesting season for most of the crops is about to be completed. But due to the price increase observed last year, as time passes the harvest time alerted the smallholder farmers to be cautious about selling their produce. Unless there are urgent financial obligations demanded from smallholder farmers, rare crop sales are happening now. As a result, farmers living in remote locations far from the main road store their crops in an aggregator’s warehouse. Aggregators agree with the farmers to accept the market price of the time when the farmers need the money irrespective of the amount of produce. The following picture illustrates the produce farmers store in the aggregator’s (my respondent’s) warehouse.
