We are L-IFT, with more than five years of experience working with refugees worldwide.

As a trial we now want to contribute jobs for refugees in The Netherlands. Most of the work is with elderly people who need non-medical support on a continuous basis. Please contact us by filling out this form and we can get to know you.

What characteristics should you have

  • Patience, good listener, accepting things go very slowly
  • Ability to organise, make appointments, report how things are going
  • Enjoying taking care of someone, including dressing, simple care things like putting cream on, (helping with) washing, (helping with) cooking, (helping with) cleaning the house

Desirable skills

  • Some skills on medical issues, e.g. taking care of wounds, putting on bandages, etc (or willingness to learn)
  • Some Dutch language skills and willingness to study more
  • Skills on a smart phone and/or computer (online reporting, whatsapp communications)
  • Driving license would be great but not required
