What we are looking for

We seek to partner with an expert in the education sector to do research on the effects of an intervention on learning outcomes and school enrollment capacity in Kenya.  For this project we are looking for someone with over 5 years of research experience in the education sector particularly on impact evaluation. We are looking for someone who has knowledge and experience in evaluating education results at student level on any educational level with experience in impact measurement methodology design specifically for education, understanding of Kenyan education system including private low-cost providers, experience in project implementation/management. We look for someone with good report writing skills and who is good in communication and presentation in general. The candidate should be familiar with the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) tool (Uwezo) which will be the main tool of analysis.

We may be able to offer a full-time position as an employee or part-time as a consultant.

Please be aware that this is not a confirmed opportunity but will depend on us winning the assignment.
