Today, I went to one of my respondents’ homes for diary set up. She is a businesswoman and she was selling head cabbage that she collected from Dodicha village. She supplied about 3 donkey carts worth of head cabbage for market and sold it all.

She kept all the money she collected from selling her produce during that day in her pockets and came up back to her home. When I was asking about her account related to cash, she told me that she can show me what she has at home. This indicates how open she is. Then, she ordered one of her children to bring the money, after a while, they started counting.

NB: This shows, some farmers are very open to talking about their accounts.
