About the Project
The FINBIT for Seafarers initiative is a collaboration between L-IFT and Spiritension designed to help seafarers better manage their finances, professional records, and wellbeing through the secure FINBIT mobile application.
Through the FINBIT for Seafarers Pre-Pilot, a small group of seafarers will gain early access to the app, using it to organise their finances and work experience while helping shape its development for the wider maritime community.
Purpose of the Pre-Pilot

-
Support seafarers in tracking income, recording work history, and managing important personal and professional records.
-
Allow participants to benefit from early adoption of a digital tool designed specifically for the needs of seafarers.
-
Collect practical feedback and insights from participants to improve and refine the FINBIT platform.
